PGA Championship Visitor Guide

Oakland Hills Golf Club is situated in the Township of Bloomfield which is a suburb of the ‘Motor City’ , more commonly known as, Detroit. The City is served by the Detroit Metro Airport where there are many alternatives to take you to the Oakland Hills Golf Club, including a shuttle service by air that takes you to the Oakland County Airport. Car hire, taxi and bus services are available from there to your Hotel and/or the Club itself. If driving from the airport to Oakland Hills take the 1-94 Eastwards to Southfield Road, follow Southfield Road Northwards until reaching Maple Road. Head West on Maple Road and the Club is approximately half mile away. Follow the signposts into the course.

There are many accommodation options available in the general area but visitors are advised to fully search the internet for best deasl. Blookfield Township becomes somewhat overwhelmed during Tournaments such as the PGA Championship so it may be best to consider outside accommodation. The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitors Bureau, situated at the Airport can offer comprehensive advice.

It is essential that tickets are purchased in advance as there will be no guarantee of tickets during the course of the week.
