USPGA Golf Championships Venue 2011 - Atlanta Athletic Club

There are a number of courses used for the USPGA Golf Championship and the 2011 tournament will be played at the excellent Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek. It is a course well used to hosting the big tournaments having been the venue of the 1963 Ryder Cup, the 1976 US open and the 1981 and the 2011 PGA Championship. David Toms was the winner of the USPGA at this course back in 2001 and there will be plenty of players hoping to follow in his footsteps in 2011 as it plays host to the tournament for a third time.

There are a number of exciting venues upcoming over the next few years for the players and fans to look forward, one of them being the famous Kiawah Island Golf Club which of course the host for that amazing Ryder Cup in 1991 and we will be going there in 2012 for the USPGA. A very special USPGA Championship will be in 2018 when we will be going to the Bellerive Country Club in St Louis for the 100th playing of the tournament and that is sure to be a big week.
