Day 3 Leaderboard
The Oakland Hills Golf course suffered a huge drenching from an almost continual storm barrage, which ultimately suspended play in the third round. It meant that the top players at least had to play their round this morning and now it is completed, it is the former British Open winner, Ben Curtis that leads the way for the final round. He is on 2 under and one shot clear of overnight leader, JB Holmes and Swede, Henrik Stenson. These are the only players to finish under par for the first three rounds. The Europeans, spearheaded by Stenson could finally have a modern day winner of this tournament, Stenson is playing beautifully, but so too are the British Open Champion, Padraig Harrington and Sergio Garcia, they are both on 1 over par and will play the final round together, reminding us possibly of their final round at Carnoustie British Open in 2007, when Harrington eventually won in a play off.
