Swedish Golfer, Robert Karlsson has eeen his world ranking steadily get higher as his excellent season in 2008 continues unabated. He has yet to miss the cut in any tournaments played in 2008. In 19 years as a professional, he has only ever reached the top ten in a Major tournament three times, two of them this year. He finished a in T8th position in the US Masters and then even better at the US Open when he finished in a tie for 4th place. Wedged in between those two events, he finished in the top ten of four events consecutively on the European Tour. His best Major finish before 2008, came in 1992, when he was T5th in the British Open. His excellent form has booked him a provisional place in the European Ryder Cup Team.
