Justin Leonard

Achievements

Justin Leonard has been a top golfer for over a decade, during that time he has won one Major Championship, The British Open in 1997, which he won from Darren Clarke and Jesper Parnevik. He has also been a runner up in three others; The British Open again in 1999, and twice at the PGA Championship, firstly in 1997 and then more recently in 2004, where he finished behind Vijay Singh. Add that to his six other top ten Major finishes and you realise what a talent Justin is. He has 12 professional wins in total, including his win at the Stanford St Jude Classic earlier this year, which he won after a play off with US Masters Champion, Trevor Immelman and Robert Allenby.

Playing Style

Justin has a solid all round game although it is known that his iron play can let him down on occasions. Not a particularly long hitter, but he does possess good accuracy off the tee and when in form his putting can be sensational.
